How much should I give and who is this for? How do you calculate the cost of water? 

There is no way to accurately calculate the true value of paya (Paiute word for water) as life. The government and people in LA have not paid a fair price for paya, and without remedy, theft continues. We invite you to choose healing historical option(s) that honor your waters and the waters in Payahuunadü and Tovaangar. If you’re uncertain how much to give, contribute what resonates with you. This is not charity. This is reparative action. This is for anyone who can give and wants to join in a circle of healing... give from your heart. 

Rematriate the Flow is a voluntary contribution for anyone to support Indigenous-led work toward healthy homelands in Payahuunadü. Recognize the city of LA’s ongoing displacement, extraction, and unfulfilled responsibilities on Nüümü/Newe lands and water by sharing reciprocity with land, water, and all life in Payahuunadü.
